Nestled just outside the foothills of Mt. Rainier Washington USA along the banks of the Nisqually River, Nisqually Internet Radio Station serves not just the world but the local community including Yelm, McKenna, Roy, Tumwater, Lacey, Shelton, Rainier, Buccoda, Elma, Tacoma, Chehalis, Centralia, Ft. Lewis, McCord, Seattle, Portland, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, California, Florida, Maine, Chicago, London, Perth, and the moon ...thanks to the internet.

We are a communty of just plain ordinary folks of all ages and backgrounds in addition to radio personalities, disk jockeys, station management people, advertisors, musicians, coders, bean counters, and others.

Founded by Marcella, Nisqually Radio helps musicians by streaming their music over the internet (and placing them upon the musicians page.) Nisqually Radio also helps the community with announcemnts about community events and information about businesses and services.

We offer advertising at extraordinary prices and accept donations to support our small staff and operations.

Musicians having original works are encouraged to contact us and participate.

Those wishing to act as reporters and DJ's on a volunteer basis are welcome to help us. We offer a chance to develop your talent and skills. Nisqually Radio seeks to work with educators also in this regard.

Our boradcaasts may be heard anywhere there is the internet, worldwide. The music we stream comes from a wide variety of musicians, young and old, and is of all grnres from pre-classical to ultra-modern. We also broadcast community concerts, news, weather, and story telling.
